At Rocky Mountain Art and Play Center, we value respectful, ethical, and clear communication in all interactions—both in person and online. This policy outlines how we use social media and digital platforms, and the boundaries we maintain to protect client privacy and the integrity of the therapeutic relationship.
Use of Social Media
We maintain social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook) to:
Share general information about our services
Promote events, workshops, and parent education
Provide therapeutic tips and resources for families
Please note: We do not follow or engage with current or former clients on social media to maintain professional boundaries.
Direct Messages and Comments
We do not respond to direct messages (DMs) or comments on social media platforms related to personal therapeutic matters.
If you comment or send a DM about a clinical or private concern, we will direct you to contact us through our official phone number or email.
We reserve the right to hide or delete comments that contain private information or violate community standards.
Digital Communication: Email and Texting
Email and text messages may be used for non-urgent scheduling, logistical questions, and check-ins.
We typically respond within 24–48 business hours. Messages received after hours, on weekends, or during holidays will be addressed during our next business day.
Email and text communication is not a secure form of therapy and is not to be used for emergency or clinical concerns.
Confidentiality Limits
Please be aware that email, text, and social media are not HIPAA-compliant. While we strive to protect your privacy, we cannot guarantee confidentiality via these platforms.
We do not use or disclose identifying client information on social media without written, informed consent.
Emergencies
If you are experiencing a crisis or emergency, do not contact us via social media, email, or text. Please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
At Rocky Mountain Art and Play Center, we believe in empowering families with access to educational and therapeutic resources that support mental health, creativity, and emotional well-being. We may share links, books, videos, organizations, or community referrals that we find helpful for parents, caregivers, and children. These are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute endorsements or formal affiliations.
Rocky Mountain Art & Play Center and its clinicians do not receive financial compensation, sponsorship, or any form of payment from the organizations or resources we recommend. All shared materials are intended to complement—not replace—professional therapy, individualized care, or medical advice. Families are encouraged to use their discretion when exploring outside resources and to discuss any questions or concerns with their therapist or healthcare provider.
