Cancellation and No-Show Policy
To ensure the best experience for all families and make our services available to those who need them, we ask that you respect our scheduling policies.
Notice Requirement
We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty. This allows us to offer your time slot to another family in need.
Late Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of the session cost.
No-shows (missed appointments without any prior notice) will be charged the full session fee.
Emergencies and unavoidable circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
How to Cancel or Reschedule
Please email, or use your client portal messages and appointments to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Your appointment is not considered canceled until you receive confirmation from our office. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us serve all families in a timely and supportive manner.
At Rocky Mountain Art and Play Center, we believe in empowering families with access to educational and therapeutic resources that support mental health, creativity, and emotional well-being. We may share links, books, videos, organizations, or community referrals that we find helpful for parents, caregivers, and children. These are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute endorsements or formal affiliations.
Rocky Mountain Art & Play Center and its clinicians do not receive financial compensation, sponsorship, or any form of payment from the organizations or resources we recommend. All shared materials are intended to complement—not replace—professional therapy, individualized care, or medical advice. Families are encouraged to use their discretion when exploring outside resources and to discuss any questions or concerns with their therapist or healthcare provider.
